A powerful nose of cooked red fruit and spices leads to a well-developed, full palate with toasted, blackcurrant and blueberry aromas. Long finish with velvety tannins and a touch of black pepper.
A wine for cellaring and bringing out for special occasions. Sublime with casseroles and meats in sauce.
Ageing potential: 10 years. Serve at between 16 and 18° C.
